You buy a new Lagoon catamaran and place it for an agreed period in the fleet of a professional operator, who markets, operates and maintains it. In return you receive an income — a guaranteed floor or a share, depending on the programme — and keep weeks of use for your own sailing. At the end, the boat leaves the fleet: you keep it, sell it or renew it.

The purchase is arranged with Nowtica, an official Lagoon sales agent, and formalised by the official Lagoon dealer, exactly like any new Lagoon, with the option of financing through SGB Finance. Charter operation is handled by Dream Yacht & Navigare, with whom you sign the management contract.

Guarantee pays you every month, for a fixed 66 months, a floor of 5% a year (Mediterranean) or 6% (elsewhere) on the turnkey price excluding transport, whether or not the boat is chartered, plus 50% of the result above that floor; insurance, berthing and maintenance are included. Performance, recommended over 66 to 84 months, gives you 60% of the gross charter revenue, uncapped, with costs at your charge: more upside when the season delivers, and no guarantee.

On the operator’s catalogue figures (September 2026), Guarantee pays from 3,214 € a month for a Lagoon 43 in the Mediterranean up to 7,138 € for a Lagoon 51 in the British Virgin Islands; a Lagoon 47 in the Mediterranean earns 3,959 € a month for 66 months. With Performance, the estimated monthly average ranges from 826 € (3-cabin Lagoon 43 in Nassau) to 9,966 € (Lagoon 51 in the Virgin Islands). Figures exclude VAT and are indicative, not contractual; the simulator details them base by base.

As a rule, no, and we will not sell it that way: a boat is a cost, and these programmes reduce it. Except in certain particular cases, such as the Performance programme under certain conditions: at some bases, such as Phuket or Raiatea, the operator’s estimate — income plus resale — exceeds the purchase price. It is a projection that depends on actual occupancy, not a guarantee.

Yes. With Guarantee you have 8 weeks a year — 2 in high season, 2 in low season and 4 last-minute — booked with the Owner Points system, on your yacht or on equivalent yachts across the network. With Performance, use is free as long as the boat is available for charter at least 10 weeks a year, and you add up to 2 weeks a year on another yacht in the fleet. With Performance, every week you sail is a week the boat is not chartered.

No. Layout and equipment are set per model for charter: that is what lets the operator run a consistent fleet and sustain the income. In return, the boat arrives complete, with the programme’s standard equipment and the charter pack on board.

The boat at the Lagoon public price excluding VAT, road and sea transport to the base, commissioning, charter equipment and registration. It is the figure on which Guarantee is calculated, after deducting transport.

The boat leaves the fleet and is entirely yours. You can keep it, sell it through the group’s brokerage service — the operator estimates its resale value at 50% of the boat price — or renew with a new Lagoon through Nowtica.

Figures are shown excluding VAT. According to the operator, VAT applies to any purchase within the intra-community area, is due on transfer of ownership of the boat, is calculated on the total amount paid, and its rate is set by the country of mooring during the last three months of operation. Taxation varies by destination: we recommend consulting a tax adviser before deciding.

At the charter base itself. Mediterranean boats leave the shipyard in February and début in spring; Caribbean and exotic-destination boats leave in September and début in autumn, in 2027 and 2028. The christening can take place at the base or in La Rochelle. Places are limited per base and allocated in order of reservation.

The current fleet plan comprises the Lagoon 38 (4 cabins and 2 heads, Mediterranean only), the 43 (4 cabins and 4 heads, or 3 and 3 in Nassau), the 47 (5 and 5) and the 51 (6 cabins and 4 heads), in charter versions.
